Most of the changes made to the Mahindra Scorpio-N Adventure Edition are on its exterior. The SUV comes with new off-road-spec bumpers at the front and rear, which improve its approach and departure angles. The new bumpers are smaller and mounted higher. They also get a tow bar, recovery hook, high-lift jacking point, accessory lights and a pre-fitted winch.

Design

The Scorpio-N Adventure Edition comes with new 18-inch alloy wheels with larger profile all-terrain tyres, while the wheel arches get additional cladding to accommodate wider tyres. For utility, it also gets a roof rack, which completes the rugged exterior of the SUV. Mahindra is selling the Scorpio-N Adventure Edition in the South African market.

Engine and Performance

The South African-made Mahindra Scorpio-N is exactly the same as the one sold in India. This SUV made in India is sold in the market only with a diesel engine. It has a 2.2-litre mHawk diesel engine, which generates 172 bhp and 400 Nm of peak torque, which is paired only with a 6-speed automatic transmission.

Specifications

The Scorpio-N Adventure Edition comes with 4-wheel drive as standard. Apart from this, the SUV has terrain modes like Normal, Grass, Gravel, Snow, Mud and Sand. Other off-road features include mechanical rear-locking differential and electronic brake-locking differential as well as hill hold and hill descent control.
